Alfred Andresen was a Minneapolis entrepreneur who marketed household items and cooking utensils appealing to the regional Scandinavian immigrant population. Not an actual manufacturer, Andresen jobbed out the casting of his patented rosette, wafer, and heart-shaped waffle irons and other pieces to foundries including Griswold.

1913 - Andresen forced out of the company he founded. Name changed to "The Western Importing Company".
