NEW TO THE CAST IRON SCENE FROM THE PIEDMONT AREA OF NORTH CAROLINA...
Recently obtained/inherited a Lodge Grill/Griddle combo from parents... Taking it out of the box it looked like the "BEFORE with mild rust on the grill side and baked on crud on the griddle.... After a good cleaning with Kosher Salt, I seasoned it and put in oven on 350 for an hour.... the grill side was still a bit sticky so I put on self clean a couple days later and put in oven for about 45 mins and that got the sticky feel off. I want to strip the seasoning i put on it, clean again and season again.... any tips are appreciated.
