I was all excited about this slant Griswold #8 a lady sold me for a song last week. I figured it was pre- WW2, maybe even pre-great depression, but now I wonder whether the made in USA mark doesn't mean that it's of much more recent casting, like the 60's. Didn't we start stamping that on skillets in the 60s to prove American provenance or something?
It's no big deal, but I don't want to be bragging about my pre war Skillet if it just means pre-Afghanistan war.
