Toy Wagners

Does anyone have a complete set of actual Wagner toys? I want to see what would have come in the sets. I am working on putting a 5-piece set together and want to get what came in it originally and not get small/toy-size things not made for the sets originally. Thanks!! I have the teapot, waffle maker, and bailed griddle.

You'll still need a skillet and a footed kettle. Four piece sets omitted the waffle iron or the bailed griddle. Sets changed over the years, so not all 4 and 5 piece sets are comprised of the same pieces. Be careful of images that show a box and a number of pieces, they may not be what actually came in the box. I think the RB or BB shows what the early sets were. Hard to say which sets and when included a lipped flat-bottom kettle vs. a footed round-bottom kettle.

Later sets from the early 1940s are quite different, and less often seen, likely due to WWII:

Also, just as markings changed on Wagner's regular pieces over the years, so did those on the toys.
