Greetings.
My name is Gene and I reside in Wyoming. I have been cooking in & with cast iron for 40+ years. 99.9% using Lodge. Not much in the collecting side of c.i. Actually I didn't know such a thing existed until this am.
I do have a couple of pieces that I'd like to know more about.
One is a 14" camp oven that has no wire bail but does have a handle cast with the pot. Flat lid, legs, loop lid handle. No provisions appear to have ever been cast for loops for a bail. No name or marks on it either.
The other is a 7" waffle iron that has all 4 playing card suits inside. The cooking portion pivots on the base requiring one to pick up the device, roll the
grid over and then set it back on the heat source. The only marks are the # 7 on the cooking portion. The base is thin-ish cast iron with the handle being part of the base.
I'll get pictures on here as soon as I figure out how.
