I'm Matt and have been around cast iron a little as kid so I knew a little bit about it. As an adult, I'm looking for an alternative to Teflon pans. I really do like the LeCreuset enameled cast iron, but I'm discovering the bare cast iron cookware. I'm not a fan of Lodge, but really like some of the new American CI companies coming online. Stargazer, Finex, and Smithey all look promising and I greatly home we Americans can ditch Teflon and cook food better on cast iron.
