My mother gave me two cast iron skillets this past weekend one from each of my grandmothers who have both past on. I looked them over immediately for manufacture marks and fired up the laptop to see if I could find more info on them which led me here to CIC. I have recently become interested in shifting more of my cookware to cast iron. So here I am, I'm not sure that I'm a collector........YET!!!! :-D but you never know what the future holds.
Here are the two pieces I have inherited.
Both are unmarked I believe the first is a skillet and lid by BSR / Red Mountain Series and the second is by Wagner from the 50's possibly.

Correct in both cases, although I suspect BSR had begun casting what they would call their Century series using the older Red Mountain markings. You don't see too many of those unmarked Wagner chicken fryers.
