Recently found this site....i am blown away by the available info! Just getting started in cast iron, love it! Hello to all!!
 
Hey, thanks, steve! I have been amazed by how nice the members on here are. I was in alabama this past week on business and managed to find a little "junk" store...i bought 12 pieces for $100 bucks, including wagner, piqua, griswold, and some old lodge...i haven't started the clean up yet, can't wait to see my prizes...!

Have you been to the Lodge Factory store up in Commerce yet?
I have enough cast iron to last a few generations, but I still enjoy going up there from time to time.
They have some of their vintage ware hanging on the walls.
Lodge also does a Cornbread Festival every spring
(up in TN)
Haven't been to one --yet--
The forum is informative and interesting.

never have, i tend to do a lot of "junkin"...i travel the south in my line of work and catch a lot of flea markets and junk stores, (when i can)....i love the info on here and the great knowledge shared....
