Favorite Piqua lid

I found a Favorite Piqua lid yesterday for $8, I brought it home thinking it would fit my #8 skillet because it says 8c on it but it didn't. The only lids I could see online like it were sitting on top of Piqua chicken fryers so I tried it on my unmarked Wagner chicken fryer and it fits like a glove. Even the ears fit perfect. Maybe the chicken fryer is really a Favorite?

That Favorite Piqua smiley face chicken fryer on ebay is a nice looking pan. I like the reinforced handle. I don't know why it says 8 1/2 on it?

8C is the pattern that sat on the shelf between 8B and 8D.

8-1/2 so you know that's the one that fits on the chicken fryer and not the one that fits the regular #8 skillet.
