Deep skillet with Griswold lid

New to this forum seeking id of deep skillet stored for 40+ years in my barn. Wondering if it is worth restoring. Cleaned crud off for pics but my old eyes can't see any markings. Seemed strange with near 4 in deep sides. TY for any help. Mike

Lodge. No notches in heat ring make it an older one. The lid is a desirable collectible, even moreso than the pan.

While the Griswold lid is the more valuable piece, the Lodge deep skillet is also worth restoring. It's still a collectable pan.

Thanks guys, skillet looked interesting, will finish it. Will be something else for grandkids. Have a couple cast waffle irons somewhere, if i can find them, i'll post pics. Thanks again Mike

Chicken Fryers are awesome. I use mine mostly for mixed veggies that are too much for a regular skillet.

Forgot to mention.... my sister wanted a Chicken Fryer. I found one for her and decided I needed one for myself too.
