Default Rock Plate?

I picked up a pile of castiron today. Most everything was beyond rusted. there was a no6 Griswold lid and pan in the pile along with what ever this thing is. I've seen them before but not sure if it's for people that like to smash there bacon or a grate tio a stove. Any idea what it it's?

Drip plate for a Jenn-Air rangetop grill. Or something like that.
