So this pan was possibly my grandmothers. It had so much carbon buildup on the bottom it took 5 coats of Easy Off just to soften it up to then scrape off the really nasty stuff. I used a dental scaler so I didn't scuff the metal. The inside was machined smooth and it too is mottled. After a good wash and dry I coated it lightly with grape seed oil and put it in the oven for an hour at 400, then let it cool down in there as well. I cooked some eggs and it is stick free just using some butter. I'd like it to look better, something to pass down to my children. Keep using it and see what happens? Also what is the best guess of the year of manufacture? Someone was selling one with a different letter suffix saying it was a rare marking?
TIA
