Roaster question

I fixed it.

The shallow one is a piece that had its beginnings as a sad iron heater, then a fish fryer, and ended up becoming a component of a BSR and, later, Lodge Sportsman's Grill. The deeper one was also made as either a fish fryer or ham boiler.

Thanks Doug,
Do you think the deep one came with a lid? How was the sad iron pan used, did it go on a stove and the irons on the pan?

Doug the pictures are kicking me and the wife pretty hard. What are we doing wrong? Thanks so much for your help!

Sad iron heaters would have set on a stove top or some were made to fit across two adjacent stove eyes after the removal of their covers and a bridging piece between them. What you actually may have here are two pieces of a version of a Lodge Sportsman's Cooker, minus the lid, which, IIRC, doubled as a griddle.
