Question on potential BSR pan

Hi,
I am a new collector with 26 various cast iron pieces. Mostly Griswold and Wagner and a few older Lodge, but today I came across what looks to be a BSR Red Mountain. The only marking is 5 V imside the heat ring and the size for a number 5 pan is about right at just under 8 inches. I assume the V is the mold letter, but I also see the same pan online with just the 5 and no letter.
Does that help with narrowing down when this an eas made? Otherwise, is 1930s to early 1950s the right range?

This pan, with its neatly inscribed size number and pattern letter, and small pour lips, place it in a period in which BSR was transitioning from hand pour to automated mold-making. Dating of BSR pans can be found at: https://www.castironcollector.com/unmarked.php#bsr
