Old Handled Pot

I found this, but did not buy it, a week or so ago. If you look closely at the picture of the bottom there is a big hole at about 2:30 o'clock. The iron handle is riveted to a stub attached to the blob of iron on the side. Unfortunately the picture does not show it well. I found a lookalike through lens in better shape marked S.P. & Co. Seller says Phila but I don't see it in the picture. If it didn't have a hole I would have bought it, but then it probably would have been more than $15.

you see this style from some of the british black country foundries (west bromwich)... clark, siddons, kenrick as well as some of the early east coast american foundries. I think I even have a smiliar style made by Law from scotland.
