I recently obtained something in the same ball park. It's shaped like a griddle, about a #8 size, but has a grill pattern something like four triangles meeting in the center. The grill slats are shaped like troughs, and drain into a 'moat' the circumference of the pan. Also it is somewhat convex, like a shallow dome shape, and has a very small pointed pour spout. It was hanging in an antique booth, the tag described it as an 'outdoor decorative piece' with a price of $15. Having never seen anything like it, and sensing it was a very functional and very old piece (the handle seemed very unique) I bought it, with the added sense that I was stealing it. Looking in an antique book the size of a metro pone book I found a drawing that matched it exactly, an 1880's era broiler valued at $75+. Other than slight surface rust and patchy ancient seasoning it seems flawless, it'll get its turn in the electro tank soon.
