Mystery Pan Identification

I found this unique looking pan at an antiques market in New Brunswick, Canada. After a lye bath, I was able to see a faint makers mark, but it's nothing I've ever seen before, and google image search hasn't yielded any results yet.

- The mark seems to look like S • D
- The No.2 is odd, given the size of the pan being more like a 5-6 from other makers. It is 8" wide at the base. 8.75" wide at the top.
- The pan looks to have had a wooden handle at some point.

If anyone has seen anything like this before, or has any information, that would be much appreciated.

Thanks!
