I'm new to the goup and just said my hello in the Introductions Forum. I am an avid Church and yard sale person and my interest in cast iron started when I found a #8 Griswold a few years ago. That was my largest pan until I found this unmarked Lodge. I didn't know what it was at the time put the inside felt smooth (not like the Griswold) but the pan looked hardly used, except for some light rusting. Today I did a cleaning and Curing. Can't wait to do a reverse sear Rib-eye this weekend.

I was gifted the same skillet when I first started collecting. It cooks well and has been my go to skillet for bacon but it's a heavy son of a gun.

They are heavy. My Wapak doent have the assist handle, none of them do. Bad for me, but I still love them!
