Lodge Pineapple Pan

This just in.
I was told this was a limited edition run that Lodge brought out for a particular store, and have since pulled it from their production line.

Can’t wait to make a sweet cornbread in this.

Well now....this is a new one to me at least.....I have never seen this before, thanks for sharing. I like to learn everyday.

It's shown in the 2000 catalog, but by 2005 this category of pans had been whittled down to just the cactus and perch.

I had a chance of buying one. It was more than I wanted to pay for it. Come to find out, it was a good price now that I've priced them.

I just bought a vintage NWT Lodge Pineapple Cake Pan #2P2. Lodge website is selling them much cheaper at $45 ($38 sale) with their new squared handles, # 2PP and egg logo on the bottom. Vintage #2P2 pan tag comes with neat cake recipe, but I cannot yet find any other pineapple pan recipes on the Lodge website. (Does anyone know of a Lodge cookbook with recipes for their special shaped bakeware?) Posting the logo comparison. The #2P2 tag style with recipe looks exactly like my Lodge 2FB French Bread Pan tag that Lodge told me was from the 1970's. Perhaps they've had several runs of these, with different tags and ID#'s? (I wish so much for a complete Lodge book, complete with all of their catalogs!)
