Good evening everyone

Picked this piece up at a garage sale today. I'm new to the site here and trying to extend my knowledge beyond iron skillets. Can anyone verify what this piece is and if it holds any value? Appears to me as some type of pouring attachment

Thanks in advanced!!

It's a base ring for a waffle iron. The low profile ones were for irons used on a woodstove, where the rotating paddles would be unobstructed over an open stove eye. The view in the photo is of the bottom. This one takes paddles with a ball type hinge, leveling pins at 3/9 o'clock. Not sure of the maker; not all #7 irons would necessarily fit it.
