Well what brought me to this site: I grew up with cast iron, and my kids are now seeing the value in cast iron. I hope to accomplish 2 things possibly 3 ; ) A good community with a common interest; to increase my knowledge so I can pass it on; and I purchased a unique piece and have idea what it is. So there you have it in a cast shell ; )

We can probably handle that. If you have a photo of it, at least of the entire bottom, that would be best. Most anything made after the early 1900s is usually identifiable.
