just getting interested in cast iron...kinda a new hobby...found my first #12 Griswold with heat ring....in my own cabinet(lol)..was just wondering what it might be worth...
Depends on the particular variation and condition, but the larger pieces generally are worth more since less were made and simply there's more iron there. For any #12 Griswold in reasonable condition, you're looking ballpark $100 and up.

Small logo Griswold worth considerably less than an older piece, but still good money. One just sold Jan. 8th on ebay for $147 with 13 bids, and another on Jan. 2, for $168.
Personally I would never pay this much. I've bought MUCH rarer pieces for a lot less money.
No. 12 is a great size for a daily user. A little large for some people but I like the extra room to move my food around.
