Had for a while, but never got a good ID

Hi everyone, newer to this community and was wondering if anyone could help with an ID on this round griddle/crepe pan I found last year. Tried looking around for a while but couldn't see anything. It has an 8 on the top of the handle and an M within a circle (molders mark I assume) on the back. Thanks in advance!

Called an old style griddle, but doesn't appear too old, no gate mark. Is the M in the circle raised in incised? Hard to tell from the lighting angle.

Yes I was surprised it didn't have a gate mark, as I've seen other griddles similar with gate marks. The M is incised in the raised circle

Unusual as molder's marks go, but the circle being raised makes the incised M feasible as one. Still no clue on a maker.
