I came across this by pure luck. I have others that are old I will post.
I was hoping for some clarification on what it is besides a skillet, it weighs bout 7 pounds maybe more, very cool, i would think rare.
Dixie Foundry , Cleveland Tennessee. My internet research says the guy that started it was from Polk County Tenessee, where i came acoss this at.

On a large diameter pan with a long handle and a flanged cover, one usually expects to see legs for use over a fire. It's hard to tell from the photos if this pan once had legs that were removed or not. Searching for images of similar returns pans with this lid and handle style having legs.
