Discolored Pan

I recently got a pan at a flea market (one notch Lodge #6) and put it in the lye bath. I got it out and rinsed it, brushed off the extra gunk, and washed it. It looks like it is discolored in big spots.

The sides have a whiteish stain on them.

The bottom just has a 'dirty' look rather than the clean, metallic look of a cleaned pan.

Is there anything going on that I should be worried about or can fix?

You can try evening out the color using a vinegar/water solution or just start cooking in it and it will eventually even out by itself. There is nothing there to be concerned about.

The white spots, I dunno' almost looks like those are the clean spots, and the rest still needs a scrubbing.

The bottom, carbon. Lye won't remove anything that's carbonized. You can try scrubbing it off, or try electrolysis. If you're seasoning to use, I wouldn't worry about it.
