CI ? For the masses

Hole as in thru-and-thru, or just an incised dot (on the bottom, I'm assuming)?
 
Just the dots. Not a hole all the way through hole. I picked up a hammered #3 skillet and it has 3 small dots and I've seen others with 2 and 1. Any ideas of maker just from the 3 dots and hammered finish? The handle is thinner Han the other 3s I have.
