Beutin?

I found this low griddle/skillet and thought it was too cool to pass on.

Beutin. Industria Argentina.

I can't find anything about this company and Kitchen/food wares except a few things in the early part of 20th century.

I just washed it and used slightly high extended temps and some scraping to clean of the greater crud. The old seasoning was too fantastic to mess with. Call me gross I don't care but I made the call to leave it alone and I love it. Pics are from before cleaning.

Anyone know more about these?

I've talked to 2 people from Argentina. Neither of them had seen this brand or a pan like this. Not cast iron people....but I mean they grew up in houses there and could not recall ever seeing this brand in the kitchens. I did learn that they would call this a Crepe pan except they don't call them Crepes they call them "Panquecas". Still don't know if this is 20 years old or 120 years old. Anybody?

My expectation of someone here knowing about this piece is low. Bear in mind that 99.99% of what 99.99% of cast iron collectors collect and focus their interest on was made in the US between ca. 1895 to 1959.

I just thought maybe someone had come across one. Can't hurt to try but yeah......I don't expect much either. FWIW, it cooks incredibly well ;)

Never heard of it, sorry. Looks to be pretty well made. Its a conversation piece for sure.

I found this. Some type of floor scrubber, and a Cocina a Lena (wood cook stove). The looks of that stove say early 1900's
