Vinegar Bath Question

I'm wanting to strip my seasoning as it's getting thick and cruddy. What type of container or bin is good to submerge a 12" cast iron w/ handle (ie. plastic storage bin, rubber bin, large Al tray, etc...)?

A vinegar bath won't do what you're looking to do. It only works on rust. You'll need lye (bath or HD oven cleaner spray) or electrolysis.

I use the lye first and follow with electrolysis if needed.

Im on a fixed budget, so its Yellow Easy Off oven cleaner, a bag to put it in, and time.

I already had an old fashioned battery charger so electrolysis made more sense for me. I bought a suitable plastic trash can. The sacrificial steel is competition for the cost of Easy Off. Graphite plates have been suggested but I haven't found the correct search to find a suitable size and thickness.
