Hello all,
Found this place through random googling etc. Have had a few pans sitting around for years that needed some attention. Recently found out about electrolysis and was very fascinated by the process. Went out and got a battery charger and now I'm hooked. I really love the entire restoration process. Very rewarding to see what's under all of the gunk on old pans. Have already cleaned up the pans I had, and bought a few more to restore as well. The history is fun too.

Cheers

Here's my electro tank and charger. I'm using a 7 gallon office trash can and cheapo $1 baking sheets from the dollar store as anodes. I rough them up a bit with a wire brush first, really helps with conductivity. I need to get a deeper tank though, larger pieces stick out a bit as you can see. That is a #9 in the photo.

Nice job, whatever works. I'm going to have to build a pretty large one, as I've started picking up so larger pots. Still planning it in my head.
