Was looking at this flat bottom kettle at a local market. Looks kinda familiar but I can't find any reference to a pot like this anywhere.
These ears look familiar but just leave me wondering.

And the #8 on the bottom is the only marking.

Other than a sketchy seasoning job, the pot seemed to be in great shape at a reasonable price.
Anyone have any ideas who and when this was made?
