no 6 griswold dutch oven

hello all, found this the other day in a little antique store. it says No 6 tite-top dutch oven in raised letters on the lid. thought it might be rare since I never seen one before so I bought it for 100.00 they were asking 120.00. appears to say number 2605 on the pot and 2606A on the lid. re seasoned it the other day. cant wait to use it.



 
Wow, nice find. I want one for my collection, not willing to pony up the top $ for one though. Would have dropped $100 in a second however.

#8 was the most popular and therefore the most plentiful size seen still around. Less popular sizes are more scarce these days b/c there were fewer of them sold to begin with.
