I am new to the cast iron using and collecting crowd.

I have a Big Green Egg outdoor cooking set up and backed into the use of these great items for cooking on the Egg. I'm hooked by the quality, functionality, diversity and history of the cast iron products.

This site is a great resource. Kudos to the originator and all the knowledgeable people that make this a great site.

Welcome. This is the thing for me as well. I really enjoy the history part of CI collecting. The research, the dating, the figuring out what is what. Then, I get to cook dinner in it!!! Most people's collections sit on a shelf collecting dust, mine gets used. :icon_thumbsup:
