New to Cast Iron

Greetings!

I am somewhat new to cast iron and I have accumulated a small collection of skillets and chicken fryers. I found this site after many searches to identify some of my cookware.

I hope to become more involved in the cast iron genre, and I hope to be an active member on this site.
 
Welcome! As you will likely soon discover, large collections of cast iron start out as small collections. :) I discovered this site much the same way as you did, seeking information and history on the few pieces I had come to own. Often when buying cast iron from private sellers, I know a lot more about what they have than they do, and I owe most of that to the wealth of knowledge this site has to offer.
