Hey guys, just a quick note about myself to start. A few months ago I got my first piece of CI from a goodwill, not knowing anything about it, just remembering my brother telling me if I ever saw a decent looking CI pan at a thrift store I should pick it up. And then over the past maybe three months I've become probably a little to interested in collecting cast iron. I've gone over most of the information on this site, but figured I could get on the forums and take advantage of everyone's knowledge.
On another note, I picked up this piece from an antique store recently (hopefully the pictures attach), and need some help to ID it. He's got no markings aside from 4 indents on the bottom base of the handle, and a #5 on the top of the handle, off to the side a little. The sides have a hammered appearance. Not sure if he's anything special, but he was cheap and I liked him, so I took a chance. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
