I am glad to have found your site. I love my cast iron, and I enjoy giving vintage pans to newly weds and as house warming gifts.
It never occurred to me that the pans I've found at yardsales had such a rich history. Folks sell the pans that belonged to their grandparents because of the build up from decades of use. I enjoy bringing them back to a useful state and giving them away.
Some of my finds have become my favorites for my own family.
