Ive been using cast iron since i Bought a dutch oven and 14" lodge skillet when I was in high school. Im now 38 and still using and looking for better pieces to add to the collection. I am not a diehard griswald chaser or a guy looking for the holy grail. If I come across a good deal on a piece, Ill buy it. Wife is starting to get annoyed lol. Ill post pics of a griddle i found at an antique shop that are unmarked and have gate marks on the bottoms. Ill put them up later.

WRT your wife's perspective, I share your pain. Don't know about you, but mine doesn't complain about the food.

Nope she doesn't complain. Lol. Just last night we used 5 of my skillets to cook deep dish pizzas for some friends we had over for dinner. I didn't hear one complaint except they wouldn't all fit in the oven at the same time.
