I have made a few posts on this forum for some reason I didn't see this section.
Anyway I was at the Landfill the other day, in the recycling section and a guy walked up to me and asked if I would like some old Cast Iron, I accepted his offer, and he brought me a Dutch Oven, The biggest skillet I had ever seen, and an old rusted out Kettle.
I was curious about the DO so I started doing a little research and I ended up here.
The DO is a 6 Quart Griswold. The monster skillet is a an unbranded 20 inch, and the Kettle is a Phillips Butteroff. I think it was made in the late 1800's by looking at some pictures I found.
It has been fun learning about these old pieces, and learning how to use the old DO.
