Hi there!
I only have one cast iron skillet by Lodge. The rest of my pots/pans are All Clad, which I believe are stainless steel and aluminum. I've had the cast iron for a couple years and try to use it as often as possible and would love to add more pieces, but its hard to justify since I really don't need more cookware....until now!
I inherited my parents electric Belgian waffle maker, its probably 30 years old and has some type of nonstick material inside. My husband and I have been on a Belgian waffle kick (getting them at restaurants and now making them at home). I don't like using, and so don't own otherwise, nonstick cookware, and would really like to replace the waffle maker.
I would love to get a stovetop Belgian waffle maker in cast iron. I've looked around and I am completely overwhelmed. It looks like "French" style waffle irons were made, but the waffle page on this site doesn't specify which irons are similar to what we know as Belgian waffles.
I'll post my formal question in the other forum area, where I think it belongs. If anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it!
