Hello everyone! I just purchased my first cast iron, a Lodge 12" skillet. I have fond memories of my mother using one for every meal, but I never knew just how incredible the knowledge base was for a more than a century old piece of cookware.
I'm now trolling eBay and checking flea markets for cheap Griswold that might just need an electrolysis bath and reseason. Especially an unwarped slant logo Griswold #8.
So anyway it looks like I have a new hobby. Nice to meet you all.
