Help with identification R&K Albany

Hi everyone,
I'm brand new here and I know next to nothing regarding cast iron. I appreciate any insight on the following item. It is a skillet marked "R&K Albany" on the bottom and 7 on the handle. I have researched but cannot find any information on this company. Thanks in advance!

I can't find anything online for the foundry.

But it looks like it was a spider skillet and somebody ground down its three legs.

Welcome! I dont have any info either. Im no good with gate marked pieces. There might be info on this site actually. Try searching it.

not necessarily... there were skillets/spiders made with 'feet' rather than 'legs'... it may not have been 'ground down'... but cast that way.. and worn a bit over time.
