Help identifying round griddle

Can anyone help me identify this griddle? My mother recently passed and her cast iron is sentimental to me. I cannot figure this one out. Please see attached photos. Round, approx 10", sharp edged heat ring (no notches) indented markings at 12 o'clock D G8.

It's a Lodge "old style" griddle, probably early 1950s. Later, they would have "OG" under the 8.
