Hello all,
My name is Jen and it is my hobby to scour antique, garage sales and thrift stores for older cast iron cookware pieces. I've been able to find some really cool pieces. My newest acquisition is a muffin pan, which is very close, if not the same, as the 948 no 10 listed in these forums. It is freshly cleaned from my etank, and I'll be seasoning it soon. I'd love to see if I can get any more information on it. It is slightly different than those currently on eBay.

I'm happy to be among others as nutty as myself when it comes to CI!

When I started I thought that I was the only one, then doing research I discovered that nope, there's a whole bunch of us iron headed people out there. I will say that it's been one of the friendlier communities I've been involved with online.

Yep, thrift stores, yard sales, flea markets, antique stores..... My daily/weekly haunts looking for goodies.

Spending time in the "Cookware" aisles of thrift stores looking for iron has lead me to also collect vintage/rare spatulas, ladles, spoons, etc... So be careful or you'll end up with more than one hobby. :tongue:
