Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I'm 47 years old from the hills of east Tennessee. I've eaten out of cast iron skillets all my life. Now its time to show my appreciation for all things CI. I've started my cast iron collection journey and realized very quickly that I needed so many answers. Hopefully I'll be able to contribute as well. Thanks

I am new here too. I am from Texas.
In the short time I have been here I have learned a lot. I am still trying to dig my cast iron out of storage so I can check on what I have hidden.

I am getting back to cooking again into my cast iron. I like the older stuff because it is lighter. My favorite skillet is a #8 Griswold sitting on my stove now. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if I am not frying me up a bunch of hamburger here for supper this evening.
