hello. i have owned cast iron for several years (just a couple pieces, what my grandmother gave me) until just a couple years ago, i started to really look for it. then we moved to alaska and now i cook on a wood cook stove, and i can't find any cast iron up here at all! (except what my brother has, that he won't share!!) i joined this group to help me identify some pans that i have. not necessarily to see what they are worth, but so that i know more about them.
