I'm new to the whole cast iron scene. Bought my first 2 pans a year ago and have been buying the occasional new Dutch oven or small pan. I'm excited to learn more about CI. I'm working on doing my first lye bath for 2 old skillets I found. I've definitely been bitten by the cast iron bug!

I've got 3 cleaning right now in my lye bath, so I'll definitely post pictures of those soon! First time trying a lye bath, so I'm hoping all comes out well. Two were quite old and had a huge amount of build up on them.
