This is my first post to this forum. I have been cooking with cast iron for years but recently have become interested in collecting. I was lucky enough to find myself looking through the information on The Cast Iron Collector Website, what a great resource!
I recently found what I believe to be a Lodge skillet. It has a 3 notch heat ring and the cooking surface has not been machined. It is marked OpryLand Hotel, i'm guessing that it is from the late 80s? Can anyone help me identify when this skillet was manufactured. I know this is a modern skillet but found it to be an interesting find. I have posted a few pics.
