I have had the reproduction one for a few years and kept looking for a 'real' one... finally settled for an ebay acquisition... this poor little guy was rusty and painted black (on the outside only)... like they held the two halves together and spray painted it. It cleaned up really well and the first thing you notice when it is sitting next to the reproduction is how smooth and detailed the 'real' griswold is compared to the rough casting of the reproduction.
