Hello everybody,

My name is Jacob. I am from California, but currently live in West Virginia for grad school. My wife and I have been married for 7.5 years and have 3 kids. I stumbled across the forum while looking into how to care for cast iron skillets. We recently received a set of 3 pans from an aunt and uncle of mine that they weren't using anymore and looked like they needed some TLC. I had no idea there was an entire movement (for lack of a better word) behind cast iron. I think I may have found a new hobby Good to be here. I am sure I will have questions in the future!

Are you in Morgantown? I am originally from West Virginia and got my undergraduate degree from WVU before heading south. If instead you're in Huntington, I guess I can forgive that

You haven't missed much. UC is a VERY small school. I hadn't heard of it until I applied to their program
