Fixing wobbling problem

I have a nice griswold No 10 skillet, it's just perfect, except for a very slight wobble. Is there a way to fix that whitout dammaging the skillet ?

I find an article on the web suggesting using a hammer and a towel ?!?!?!?!?

Thanks

There is no way to "unwarp" an iron pan that will not damage it. Some have suggested that there might be a way if the pan was heated to an extremely high temperature-- higher than that which can be achieved in a home setting-- and pressure applied, the warp could be removed, but it would likely cause other damage leaving the pan unusable.

Warps in aluminum pans can be remedied using a method similar to what you refer to, however. A rubber mallet, or a wide block of wood and hammer.
