Yesterday I stopped by a yard sale close to closing time. Most of the stuff
had already been put away. I notice a small camp Dutch oven with lid sitting
off to the side (with a sticker for $30). Just then it started to rain... sellers
were scurrying to put stuff away. I quickly offered $10. They accepted. I beat
feet back to the car with the cast iron in tow. Just lucky timing. ;)

Lid handle seems like an older style than would be expected on a Lodge of that vintage. Nevertheless, it appears to fit well. Quite the bargain.
 
Thanks for the info Doug. I know this find was pure luck. Seems to have been really well taken care of ...as will I. The wife loves the functionality and size...but I think she just wants it for display.
